Spy Week

26 May - 30 May

Take part in the free Secret Spy Trail around the National Cold War Exhibition. Your mission is to complete the trail answering as many questions as possible. Crack the code to discover the name of the secret spy.

Pick up your trail from the Admission Desk on arrival.

After Hours Opening

28 May

The Museum will be opening its doors to the public until 8pm for one exclusive day. Take time viewing the amazing National Cold War Exhibition and the Museums 3 wartime hangars.

James Bonds Autogyro

28 May

Kenneth Wallis, creator of the famous autogyro used in the James Bond film, ‘You Only Live Twice’ will be holding an exclusive talk at the Royal Air Force Museum Cosford on 28th May 2008 as part of the Museum’s Half Term Spy Week.

He will be bringing with him autogyro XR944, one of the 3 autogyros built for evaluation by the Army in the 1960’s as aerial reconnaissance platforms. His autogyro will be on display in the Museum’s National Cold War Exhibition.



RAF Cosford Air Show

1 June

The RAF Cosford Air Show is the Midlands premier air event which offers non-stop entertainment both in the air with displays from a wide variety of aircraft and on the ground with hundreds of exhibits, colourful stalls & trade stands, military demonstrations and children's entertainment. This is a great day out for all ages and interests and not to be missed. Please note admission charges apply

Father's Day

15 June

A drop-in work shop for families to make a card for your special person. Free of charge for anyone wishing to take part. All materials supplied. Times from 11am to 3pm.

100 Years of Cycling

21 June - 22 June

The March Veteran and Vintage Cycle Club will be displaying 100 years of cycling with members dressed in period costume displaying a wide range of bicycles.
